Inscription on Back, Transcribed: Jan. 10, 1917. Dear Father- How are you, my eyes are about OK. My right one is blood shakin', yet, but the soreness is gone. They let me out of bed this morning. It's snowing here today. I haven't any paper to write with now, so I'll send a card. Get some first chance I get, accident caught me out. As Ever, J.C. Sullivan.
