Relative to your letter of July 31, 1919, I regret to advise that we cannot at this time furnish you with definite information as to disposition of your brother's effects. 2. Personnel of Effects Depot, where the effects of deceased members of the American Expeditionary Forces were handled, have returned to the United States, and the records have been shipped to Chief, Effects Bureau, Hoboken, [New Jersey] 3. Your letter has, this date, been referred to Chief, Effects Depot, Hoboken, [New Jersey], requesting that you be advised as to disposition of Corp. Chilson's effects.
