Mailed at Sayre, [Pennsylvania] [October] 4, at 7:30 P.M. Dear Mother - Have time to write again so will do so. Saw Niagara Falls this morning very hurriedly must confess that at first Iwas very much disappointed But as I looked over the different places it gradually became more wonderful. Altho Iam still a little disappointed as the falls was not any thing like I expected it to be. I imagine tho that could one stay and study the place that it would gradually become very wonderful.


Dont know what they will do with me when I get to Camp Upton but you can write to me there - 816th Pioneer Infantry Camp Upton New York - and should Igo across Isuppose the same will get me but I’ll let you know - am Enclosing the check I wrote about yesterday love to every body.
