she is well. I am glad Somers is getting on well with her lessons no I dont think the war will be over very soon I think we are going to the Front soon I am shure I dont know why some of the boys can write more I try and keep within the limits of what the order that stated what we could write I cant write any more and keep within the law and I am shure I wouldent relish a court martial. If I get a chance


I will get some pictures taken of myself hope you got the one I sent. I may not write for a while. I rec’d a nice box from L. Shaw and Verna W. Well I must close I give my best regards to all. Walter We all wear caps now. [censor signature
