[Y.M.C.A. letterhead] Ans soon July 11 Paris France Dear Ma – : Thought I Would Write you a few lines to let you know I am Well. havent any News to Write Much. I am sending W.W. Kimball Co 70 Francs equal to $12 they Will send you the reciept hope you are all Well. I Will try and Write Once a Week you must do the same if possible I havent got any more letters I guess the Mail dosent come very often The Wheat is just getting ripe here now, the farmers use very antique Methods here the American Cities are far ahead of the French.
