Description Poem

"Farewell, Stand Fast"
(Shakespeare)
To the air of "Tramp, Tramp, Tramp"

When in trenches we all sit,
While for us you work and knit,
There's a bond between us distance cannot break;
Just be cheerful, it is best,
And will help us stand the test,
In this work for God and Home and Country's sake

Bear up mothers; don't be fearful,
Let us face things with good cheer;
We are mraching for the Right,
God will guide us with His light,
To bring Victory and Peace soon over here.
