Description Inscribed postcard with a colorized photo on the front captioned "Edinburgh Castle and National Gallery". Image on a red plaid background with white flowers and a shield crest captioned "ROBERTSON".

Inscription on back of postcard, transcribed: "I was all through this old Castle here too. I was also in Margaret's Chapel. Which stands in the real old part of this Castle."

From the service of William E. Letts, Coxswain U.S. Navy. Letts enlisted April 1, 1916, trained at the U.S. Naval Training Station in Great Lakes, Illinois, served aboard the U.S.S. Wyoming, and was honorably discharged on March 25, 1920.
