Description Letter to Leona E. Perkins from George McCormac who is stationed in England. Letter is in three installments. Comes with envelope. Written on YMCA note paper with the phrase "With the Colors" as the letter head.

George discusses his financial situation, thankful he found paper because is he not getting payed or has much money left over after expenses. He mentions recreation huts on base where men play piano and sing for entertainment. Specifically mentions "rag-time" music. Brings up the beauty and nice summer weather in England along with how welcoming the people are and discusses coming back home to hear Leona play the piano all the time.
