Description Newspaper clipping, black and white, of a cartoon captioned "A SOLDIER'S DILEMMA". A soldier who is about to be sea sick looks at a sign that reads: "THROW NOTHING OVERBOARD. FLOATING ARTICLES REVEAL OUR COURSE TO ENEMY SUBMERINES [sic]" while a sailor says "DON'T CHA DARE GIT SEA-SICK ON TH' DECK. DIDN'T CHA SEE US JIST SWAB DOWN?"

From the service of William E. Letts, Coxswain U.S. Navy. Letts enlisted April 1, 1916, trained at the U.S. Naval Training Station in Great Lakes, Illinois, served aboard the U.S.S. Wyoming, and was honorably discharged on March 25, 1920.
