Letter from George to Leona Perkins, sent from England to Roswell, New Mexico. Comes with envelope. Letter written on paper with the letter head "Soldiers' and Sailors' Correspondence Room of the Young Men's Christian Association, Richmond Virgina, Grance and Seventh Street."
Letter starts out with George being thankful for having paper to write on because he cannot afford any. Talks about the men in his unit all sharing a lighter and how they have smoking tobacco because of the Red Cross. Mentions gaining weight and all the food he's been eating. Thanks Leona for taking the time to write to him so often and remember him and asks her to send pictures.
