J.K.B. Hockaday, 177th Inf. Brigade. Subject: Appreciation of Services Rendered. The Brigade Commander desires to express his appreciation of your excellent service as liaison officer with the division during the period of active operations. Your work has been extremely valuable and your bearing under fire exemplary during all the operations, which have included great drives of September 12-13, Novermber 1-2, and the final advance of November 11th and the attendant operations.
