Description: Postcard with inscription. Painting of a soldier and a ship with an American flag.
Inscription on Front, Transcribed: My thought and my heart. Ma pensee et mon coeur.
Inscription on Back, Transcribed: Did not write you a letter Sunday as I wrote to Aunt Lilly. Have been working inside today in Lieah Keck's office and just got through. Today is pay day again. We will be paid about 5 or 6 o'clock this afternoon. Well I understand that the war is about over as the paper says that Germany has give in, which I hope is true. Received your letter of October 17th [illegible] with the clippings and am glad to know you are getting along so fine. I am very glad that I got the chance to come across for the U.S. will look better to me when I get back again which I hope will be soon. Am well and just getting along fine as usual. Will try and write you a letter Saturday or Sunday.
