A letter on House of Representatives stationary from Congressmen William N. Vaile to John Hoover Price, dated February 15, 1922.
Dear Mr. Price:-
Reference is had to your favor of recent date relative to your compensation claim.
Since the receipt of your letter I have been urging the allowance of a higher rate than that approved by the Department, namely, $8.00 per month, effective as of Dece3mber 29, 1921, but without success. If you can furnish me with any additional evidence tending to show that you are disabled in a greater degree than that indicated, I will be glad to pursue the matter further. In the meantime, you might advise me whether or not you are receiving monthly payments in the amount of $8.00 based upon the above award.
Assuring you of my desire to be of service at all times and whenever possible and with best wishes, I am
