The True Patriot

He unfurls the Flag upon all holidays;
The man with a soul, that waits, watches, and prays;
When darkness is thickest, he works, saves, and pays;
When cheer is most needed, he brightens dark days;
Who all calls of his Country unflinching obeys
Of the sea, of the land, of the air, Ev'rywhere;
That's the only True Patriot, the one "Always There!"
