A program for the Second Annual Convention of the National Military Sisterhood of America at the Bisonte Hotel, Hutchinson, Kansas, dated April 10-11, 1919.
Centered in the middle of the cover is a seal. The seal depicts a woman sitting in a lounge chair, reading a book to a little girl on her lap, and a little boy standing to her right. To her left is a stand with a lamp on it. Over the mother and children stands a woman who is using her dress to protect them from the action in the background. To the woman right of the woman are soldiers following an American Flag, while to the left there is explosions and what appears to be a mill.
The program itself is the schedule of events. The two-day convention is broken down into morning, afternoon, and evening events. For each period of the day, the place in which these events are to take place is listed all of which are churches.
Events include addresses, readings, musical performances, forums, and officer elections.
From the service of Grace M. Fable, president of the Topeka Chapter of the National Military Sisterhood of America and mother of Frank Fable, Bty. A 130th FA, 35th Division.
