Our Flag and Their Flag

The Flag! The Flag! There's history in it,
Beginning at Lexington, town where the Minute
Men slept on their guns, awaiting surprises,
Down to the Marne, where in battle it rises--
Dauntless, unconquered, thy praises we sing,
Flag of America, Victory bring!

The Flag! The Flag! It thrills our emotions,
Flaunting our valor around the deep oceans,
Sailors their lives risking, their ensigns saving,
Guidons in battles the soldiers are braving,
To keep proudly floating thro' shot and thro' shell
Our Flag and the Flag of all Allies as well;
Flags all victorious,
Flags, oh, so glorious
Your praises we sing,
Victory bring!
