Inscription on back of postcard, transcribed: "I arrived in Havre France all O.K. will be in states about June 5. I wish you luck / William E. Letts."

From the service of William E. Letts, Coxswain U.S. Navy. Letts enlisted April 1, 1916, trained at the U.S. Naval Training Station in Great Lakes, Illinois, served aboard the U.S.S. Wyoming, and was honorably discharged on March 25, 1920.
