Letter from George McCormac to Leona Perkins in Huntsville, Missouri from San Antonio, Texas. Writtin on YMCA paper with the phrase "With the colors" as a header. There is a small American Flag in the top left corner. Comes with envelope.
Sunday Morning. Begins by apologizing for not having the time to write all week but that they have been given extra work at camp. Proceeds to list daily schedule. Had a lesson in airplane controls, calls them "wonderful machines". Talks about the planes. Responds to Leona's mentioning of a plane crash nearby that killed two men. States that he saw the wreckage and that all civilian passes had to be cancelled and that no civilians were allowed to enter the reservation, "they think someone had tampered with the machines." Continues on with daily schedule. Finally signs: Must close to get this mailed, Love- George.
