Description Two typed poems on one sheet of paper. Written on back in pencil: Roy R. Rily, 329 Inf Co G, 3.768547. "Homeward Bound on the U.S.S Huntington" is the title of the first and longest poem, "H.C.W. 105th A.S." is the title of the second poem at the bottom of the page.

"Homeward Bound" is about never being able to forget the feeling you had when you were finally headed home. Talks about the hardships of ship life and how it would all be forgiven when you finally made it back to the U.S.A.

"H.C.W. 105th A.S." is about having the blues.
