Description An extract of special order numbered 220 from Camp Bowie, Fort Worth, Texas, dated August 9, 1919.

Order reads:
4. Under authority of Par. 8, Circular No. 86, W.D., 1919. And under the provisions of Par. 3, Circular No. 191, W.D. 1919, the following named officers are transferred on a leave status and at their own expense to Camp Travis, Texas, for discharge on or before August 26th, 1919:
Major Isaac A. Withers, Medical Corps, Class 1,
Captain E. F. Fuller, Infantry, Class 1.
Leave of absence is hereby granted the above named officers for one (1) day, effective at once, for the purpose of making the journey and upon arrival they will report to the Commanding General, that Camp.
These officers have procured financial and property clearance at this Camp.
5. Under authority of Par. 8, Circular No. 86, W.D., 1919, and under the provisions of Par. 3, Circular NO. 191, W.D., 1919, 1st Lieutenant George W. Tinslar, Dental Corps, Class 2, is transferred in a leave status and at his own expense to Camp Dodge, Iowa, for discharge or or before August 28, 1919.
Leave of absence is hereby granted Lieutenant Tinslar for three (3) days, effective at once, for the purpose of making the journey and upon arrival he will report to the Commanding General, the Camp.
This officer has procured financial and property clearance at this Camp.
6. Under authority of Par. 8, Circular No. 86, W.D., 1919, and under the provisions of Par. 3, Circular No. 191, W.D., 1919, 2nd Lieutenant Leon Leighton, Jr., Infantry, Class 1, is transferred on a leave status and at his own expense to Camp Devens, Mass., for discharge, or or before August 30, 1919.
Leave of absence is hereby granted Lieutenant Leighton for (5) days, effective at once, for the purpose of making the journey and upon arrival he will report to the Commanding General, that Camp.
This officer has procured financial and property clearance at this Camp
