Description Black and white photograph. Signal Corps #23878. Written in pencil on back: "Removing German signs in Varennes and substituting American signs, by men from the 130th F.A. [field artillery], 35th Division and from the 28th Division. Varennes, on the line between the 35th and 28th Division sectors was entered by both on Sept. 26, 1918."
