Men are posed for photograph in uniform, some seated with rifles and others are standing. Men are in front of large buildings and several trees.
From the service of Brigadier General Charles Dewayne Roberts, USMC, native of Kansas City, Kansas and graduate of Kemper Military Academy commissioned August 15, 1917. Roberts was a platoon leader and later Company Commander of the 84th Company, 6th Regiment, 2nd Division, AEF during operations at Belleau Wood, Blanc Mont, etc. He resigned his USMC in 1919.
